The Access right is required to create user accounts as well as assign the appropriate dealers to the users. Therefore, the first user of Dealer Portal must have the Admin access right.
The first user must be created in Annata D365, whereby the sign in credentials will be shared to the dealer portal Admin user manually.
Firstly, email invites are sent to prospective Dealer Portal users. Accepting the invitation will trigger an event that will create a user account for the user in Annata D365. Once a user account is successfully created in Annata D365, the Dealer Portal administrator can start creating a user account in Dealer Portal as well as assign the appropriate role and dealership to the user.
When a user account is successfully created in Dealer Portal, a member will be created in Annata D365. When that user is assigned to a dealer, a dealer-member will record will be created in Annata D365 with a unique context token. The access token can be used for accessing Annata D365 services.

Once saved, a user account will be available in the Dealer Portal from Dealer Settings. The list includes all successfully created user accounts.

Note: Only users with Admin rights can delete a user account.
